Family Law Paralegal

I provide Paralegal services to Family Law Attorneys in Minnesota and St. Croix County Wisconsin. I do not give legal advice to non-attorneys under any circumstances.

I provide Professional Power of Attorney services to self-represented, pro se family law litigants primarily in St Croix County (WI), Ramsey County (MN) and Washington County (MN). You do not need to have a lawyer in order to have a Power of Attorney, but you can have both. The Power of Attorney services that I provide by Minnesota or Wisconsin Statute do not give me access to your money, your property, your finances or give me the ability to make medical decisions.

I also provide other services such as court filings, process serving and family law case research to Attorneys and non-Attorneys.

I am very knowledgable in Family Law issues and I keep up to date on case law, statute and other Family Law issues. I am only interested in Family Law, with an emphasis on non-custodial parents, usually fathers.

Legal assistants and paralegals are individuals who assist lawyers in the delivery of legal services. Legal assistants and paralegals cannot give legal advice to consumers of legal services. Legal advice may only be relied upon if given by an attorney. All states require attorneys to be licensed and most have statutes imposing penalties for the unauthorized practice of law.

The American Bar Association (ABA) says: A legal assistant or paralegal is a person qualified by education, training or work experience who is employed or retained by a lawyer, law office, corporation, governmental agency or other entity who performs specifically delegated substantive legal work for which a lawyer is responsible.
